We recruit for recruitment agencies, and only for recruitment agencies. It is a narrow specialism and a deliberate one.

The roles inside an agency are not interchangeable. A stretched delivery function and a thin pipeline look identical on a job spec and need completely different people.

Every desk we fill is worked remotely, from South Africa, for an agency somewhere else. That arrangement has its own ways of going wrong, so we assess for it directly rather than assuming a good recruiter is automatically a good remote one.

That work starts with understanding how an agency is actually structured today, which desks are stretched, where candidate flow breaks down, and what kind of person would genuinely relieve the pressure. The answer is different for every agency, and it is rarely simply “another recruiter”.
